• Baroque Frame with mica powders

Good workshops at Hadrian's Hobbies this weekend with some new faces in amongst the regulars! Everyone seemed to enjoy making this easel card with the Creative Expressions Baroque Frame stamp as the focal point (thanks to Julia Watts for the inspiration!).

The Baroque Frame was stamped with embossing ink and Cosmic Shimmer mica powders brushed over the top to create the background. The image was stamped again on another piece of card with embossing ink, but this time Cosmic Shimmer detail embossing powder was used in silver and heat set. The square in the centre was then cut out and layered onto the mica background with foam pads.

I didn't have a fancy square die large enough to create a frame (and a square frame looked a bit plain) so I improvised using the Tattered Lace Demure Corner die and cutting it down slightly. I did this 4 times to create the corners to frame the stamped image.

Used Couture Creations Celebrate embossing floder for the embossed background and the Tattered Lace Adoringly Ornate Edge die for the embellishment.
